Size: 12-1/2 x 3-1/4 x 1", Wt: Empty-5 oz., Full-1 lb.; Capacity: 100 compartments 1/2 x 1/2 x 1" each 1000' of sample at 10' intervals; Construction: Rigid, high-density, heat resistant "Sclair" polyethylene; 100 compartments, each holding 2 grams of sample; Trays are pre-numbered across by 10's, down by 100's. Snap-on lid will keep compartments sealed from each other ensuring integrity; Trays are safe from spillage, shippable; When lid is removed each compartment may be viewed under a microscope without having to empty and refill. Each compartment is about the size of field in a 10x microscope. A single label can identify the whole tray interval system when the pre-numbered system is used. Can be used as a backup, secondary sample set for safety- partners, quick shipping ahead, or office use. Samples representing almost 4 million feet of drill cuttings = 10' x 10' x 1' storage. Trays are built to stack on each other.
