Pomeroy Bubble Jar

The Pomeroy bubble jar is made from durable 2" PVC pipe fittings, and the 4" liquid or "bubble" chamber is clear PVC pipe. It is intended for use at the agitator, with a liquid dessicant such as ethylene glycol to remove water from the gas sample before it goes into the sample line to the logging unit. The modular design allows use of a second bubble chamber prepared with fresh dessicant, then remove the chamber with the used dessicant and replace it. The Pomeroy Bubble Jar has a built-in flow stopper, that will shut off the flow if the jar fills with mud, and stop the mud from flowing into the sample line. This bubble jar can be attached directly in line with the USGI calcium chloride gas dryers.
